On the Road again...

Katasha put on her seat belt and began to look around the car and noticed something on the ceiling.She pulled on it and pushed one of the buttons and then a DVD began to play."What the...?!oooo...."Katasha cocked her head."Did I make it mad?"

Vahn sighed and shook his head."I think that this thing is called a...uh...DVD Player."He said.

Katasha looked where Dusky was pointing."Oh,Thanks Dusk."She giggled as she took out the DVD and then grabbed a strange looking CD and stuck it in a slide.She grabbed the volume knob which she had no idea what it was.The music was so loud and no one could be heard.

Vahn grabbed his ears."TURN THAT DOWN!!!"He yelled.He grabbed the knob to a silent volume."Ugh..Thank Goodness.."He sighed.

she passed them back which was hard on account of them squirming

Katasha fast forwarded threw the DVD until it got to the movie part."Hey lookie.There talkin about wolves.Look at the wolf pups.Hey wait...!That wolf looks like me!That is me!And Vahn and you guys!"Her mouth dropped.

Vahn looked at Katasha."That guy who we threw outta the car must have been a nature documenter.He must have been filming us from a distance.Grr...Stalker..."

Katasha nodded as she continued to watch the DVD.

Vahn began to fall asleep.

they had stopped at a gas station
shadow handed out money
go get some food use the bathroom whatever else and meet back here in five

Katasha hopped out and ran into the bathroom.(2 min later) "Done!" She said as she ran in and bought some food."Got the Food!"She smiled munching down on chips.

Vahn yelled."I got the tires filled with air."He said as he went into the bathroom.(2 min later) He walked back to the car.

shadow came out lugging a 12 pack of water bottles
and a few packs of beef jerky

dusky had pups in one hand and 4 large bags of chips.
all set them entered the van and yet again were off

Katasha grabbed the bag of beef jerky and began to on one."These..are...*munch munch* awesome."She continued to eat them

Vahn had already scarfed down one bag of Slim Jims."Boy these humans sure can make some good...uh..*reads bag* slim jims"

dusky was giving the pups some and they were fighting over it almost falling from her lap in the process.

an hour and a half left of driving and the landscape changed from the forest area near their home to a farm land landscape

Katasha looked out the window and could see cows,and sheep."I have never seen sheep before.I wonder what they taste like?"She wondered.

Vahn looked out the window when he caught the scent of lamb and pigs.His mouth began to water."Melt in your mouth meat....Mmm"

(An hour and 15 min. later)

Katasha looked up at the tall buildings."Lookie!The city!"

Lark put his head in one of his hands Thank goodness the other hand was still gripped on the seat.


Light looked in the window of the old shack to see Mrs. Rider sewing.Wow you still do that mom.... after all these years you havent changed one bitshe smiled and sniffed the air.there you are Light said walking a little ways from the shack to a clearing.Hey Jack its been a long time she walked over to where a short stone rock stuck out of th ground.A lot has happened while I've been gone. she stroked the stone.But i had to come back to say good-bye a single tear fell from her eyeI'm sorry I left in such a rush and I must leave in a rush today too. the wind carried the smell of the city just over the hill.Who are you my dear? a voice came from behind her. She quickly turned to see Mrs. Rider(mom). Oh hello I didnt mean to disturbe you, Im LightThe old woman looked at me for a long moment then motioned me to come with her.I really must get going

Hush child this will only take a moment she went inside the house and dug through an old box with the smell of Jack all aroung it. Then she came out again and grabbed Lights hand when she let go there was thick silver chain with a full moon dangling frome the end.My son got this for his dog a long time ago She touched the colar on Lights neckI want you to have it she said as she walked back into the shack. Light stroked the charm of the moon.You always knew Jack..she wispered taking the old collar off and snapping the new one in its place over the one shadow gave her.
