War ran (Or as ran as much as a wolf with a broken leg and paw can) and headed to the den but she did not go in the went by the river and walked around it with her eyes trained on the sky

Light stayed close to Dusky all the way back to the cave.

Lark stayed a few paces back.Shadow....your putting her..though so much pain.. He wispered under his breath.



(*cry* shadow *sniff*)

War woke up inside the den and walked out her leg was much better but her paw was still hurting, she went to the river and drank. Then she went to her brothers tree and nuzzled him then went back to the den.

Ugh...I feel soooo..FAT! Light said breathing hard.Its time for these little ones to see the world

dusky tried to calm lark as he worried
they had not spoken of shadow much over the past few months
but she thought of him every night
she now instructed everyone on how to make the alpha more comfortable

War listened to Dusky "What may i do?" She asked

some damp moss if you can only find dry dip it into the water
she turned and barked out more orders like get a stick for her to bite down on
and so on

Siren looked to the sky as she heard the fast breathing of Light.She closed her eyes and then shed a tear."I remeber my pups.They were beaten to death by humans and skinned for there fur.I saw it all happen but I was too weak to do anything."Siren howled.

Brambleclaw flicked his tail as he licked Icetail on the face as she purred."Light,What can I do?"They both asked in unison.

Graypaw laughed as he went over to "Can I help?"He questioned.

Vahn's relationship with Katasha had grown and they had became mates along with Brambleclaw and Icetail.He got up as he stepped over Katasha's sleeping body."Can I...help?"

Brightstar paced back and fourth outside the den.She wondered what had become of Shadow."Shadow where are you?"

Siren then opened her eyes and then turned to her godly form.And ran into the forest.

as siren ran a buzzing noise filled her ears then a god like howl that shrank in to a mortal howl it came from a small clearing up ahead and started to move towards the den

Siren stopped running when a howl came from the other side of the woods near the den and came towards the den.She began to growl

(since no one else is on and i have nothing better to do)

shadow sighed at devastation made in his return.
15 year to the day he thought

the small bundle of fur beside him still shook
sighing again he gently picked it up
he heard a wolf running nearby and made a wide birth the time zones for each world were different he could be millenniums or tree weeks before he had been sent back to opaz.
each time would be dangerous millenniums later no one would know him and they may thing him dangerous while he could not chance meeting himself here
so quietly he marched nearer to the den hiding him and the furry creature out of sight

dusky was giving light a stick to hold onto during the birth
she also sent all the males out of the den.

the pups ran outside they had learned to hunt already and had brought in two fat rabbits heads held high
dropping them, the pups started to fight about who would bring the adults the food but like most times aden beat her brothers
ha i win
she grabbed the rabbits and ran to the adults leaving her complaining brothers to moan and fuss about bruises

Lark was trying to stay calm while he waited.calm down calm


Light smiled at the two little bodies of fur that were now nursing.She licked both of them before looking at Dusky.Thank you Light said happily, then layed her head down and rested.

shadow relied on his nose the smell of birth and saw lark calming him self outside the cave putting one and one together
nine months
he breathed
15 years for me but nine months for them
he sighed
you stay where you are till i get back
he said to the huddled mass of fur
he was about to enter the den clearing when he heard a voice

dusky called out to lark
it is over you can come see them now

as he watched everyone enter the den he mustered up the courage to step out of his hiding place
breathing slowly he walked to the cave and saw the alphas new pups and the rest of the pack watching their father meet them for the first time
shadow swallowed the lump in his throat and manged to say
congratulations

dusky heard sahdows voice and looked up eyes wide and disbelieving
she notice how he backed away when the pack looked up
her eyes streamed with tears as she jumped over the others to get to him

she cried
she smelled him warm sent
you even smell like opaz

he smiled down at her shyly he was not the same shadow they all could see that
is it true it has been nine months?

he coughed
it doesn't matter

he lowered his head and licked her forehead and said
fifteen years
she looked at him shocked
and breathed
fifteen years

aden walked over rabbits hang in her mouth
she saw shadow
father?father!
she jumped toward him
they greeted each other
and then turned to the pack to answer the flow of questions.

Brambleclaw jumped from his laying spot and bounded over to Shadow."Shadow!!"He yowled.A pawed at him."Where have you been?"

Icetail flicked her tail in happiness."Shadow!"She mewed with joy.She nosed Shadow as her tail curled.

Graypaw mreowed in joy to as he mewed."Shadow!"

Brightstars ears were standing straight up."Shadow...!"She purred.

Siren was overjoyed by Shadows arival.She nuzzled him."I knew you wouldnt leave us forever!"She barked.

Katasha wagged her tail and then put her nose on Shadow."Where have you been?Dusky has been worried sick!"She said angrily.

Vahn lifted his head and saw his old friend.He was in astonishment of seeing Shadow.

Light looked at shadowfifteen years shadow your....old She smiledIts good to have you back

lark leaned over to shadowDid dusky ever crave....frogs or a deer... Lark stoped short and looked out of the den.What is that? he sniffed the air.

shadow stepped back

he looked at lark after his remark and remembered

he ran to the bush and grabbed the furry creature
he brought it placed it gently down and licked it
a small burst of flame appeared out of it
well this is a well a dragkin(yes it is spelled that way and i will make a character thing for it) he helps traveling
it unrolled itself it stared at them all with big eyes
he looked like a fur covered dragon with bird wings
he tried to fly and flipped over to the bewildered pups

light looked at it How?....How does it help traveling?

Lark moved a little closer to Light and the new born pups.

he lower his head to the dragkin who climbed up onto his back
shadow howled and it grew to high pitched buzz and then a pop he appeared in the den and smiled

Brambleclaw and Icetail annoced that they were leaving along with Graypaw and Bightstar and left.

Siren nodded as she looked to the Dragkin she cocked her head at it.

Vahn looked discusted at the furry creature."How is that ugly creature going to help us?"

Light smiled as well. She looked down at her pups. Night and Rabbit.She licked them and layed her head back down.

Lark walked over to his mate and gently licked her then the pups.He layed down beside her.I really dont care right now.Lets all just get some sleep and then talk tomorrow

as everyone else faded off to sleep shadow tip toed out of the cave the dragkin came out to
as he sat by the water the dragkin ran off into the bush a head popped out a humal head her ears back she said
when are you really going to tell them and what the heck a dragkin?
shadow sighed
not yet, not yet.
you know that i am now traveling helper
shadow got up and snapped at her
i brought you here for your own safety
shadow clenched his jaw
we best get back to the den
the girl shook her head and changed back in to a dragkin and they both made their way back to the den

Light, the pups and Lark were fast asleep.

that morning shadow was up stretching ready for a hunt
as the sunlight touched the trees he blinked at the brightness

Light and the pups were still sleeping but Lark wasnt. Hey you going hunting? Lark asked as he walked over to shadow.
