at the bar**

shadow waited at the bar holding his drink he watched two girls on had dirty blond hair the other black
he wondered why the school had picked them
well i'm stuck here till they leave
he had followed them for a few days
he was going to take them with him tonight and get back to the school soon
he sighed hopping they wouldn't notice him

War took no notice of Shadow as she sat down and ordered a beer

Light sat down at one of the booths and ordered a Dr. Peper (light doesnt drink^^)

shadow glared
this was gonna be a long night
his hand went to his neck rubbing it

War sipped the beer and didn't say a word to anyone, she usually didn't drink, but today was her 22 birthday and all her friends from the Mandan reservation were coming down from north Dakota to celebrate her 22 birthday, so she decided to celebrate with herself

shadow thought of something he spoke to the bar keep flashing a badge he asked to buy the black haired girl a drink
the bar keep nodded and let shadow slip some money under the table to him
the bar keep walked over and placed the drink in front of war from the man over there
shadow nodded at war

War nodded back in thanks

now he thought to the other girl what could he do

War opened the bottle and took a small drink of it, War kept thinking what the hay she was gonna do here, even in North Dakota there was more to do

shadow met wars eyes and winked
he mouthed

War looked suspiciously at him not really liking the gaze

he got up and walked like a drunk slipping something in his beer he wandered over to light
he faked a slip and threw the beer into her face

he went back over to war after muttering a sorry to light

War felt a little dizzy but she figured it would go away Yeah just a little dizzy she said

shadow tried to stall until she was totally out of it

War looked at him trying to fight off the dizziness I come from North Dakota, On the Mandan tribe Reservation, i am the chiefs daughter. why do you want to know? she asked him finally giving up on fighting the dizziness off.

War finally because over come by dizziness and her red eyes because a bit blue

shadow picked her up and took her outside to his truck placing her in the back seat he lay her down
then went to get light he pushed the front seat's backrest so she could lay down.

off we go
he snapped the gears of the pick up truck
and drove toward the airport

After a few minutes War was awake and as mad as ever Well, well, well, smart boy i see she said her eyes glowing bright blood red with rage

calm down war its okay i'm a friend
he winked

War was on a defensive side Then why did you slip something in my drink to make me pretty much get drunk? this is why i should have stayed in North Dakota.... War crossed her arms

well we are leaving the country
shadow smiled

he drove into the airport
we have a private flight waiting
he said motioning to the large jet in front of them
he got out of the truck and grabbed both war and light
entering the plane he placed them in reclining seats

War shook her head Well, you already know my name, and besides were the gods are we going? she asked him
